Acutonics® Tuning Forks
The use of Tuning Forks in health care has grown extensively over the past sixteen years. Although some theories date them back as far as Ancient Egypt, the modern day tuning fork was developed more than 400 years ago as a means to tune instruments. In Western Medicine they are used for neurological testing and as a quick way to scan the body for a fracture.
Our methodology for the therapeutic use and application of Tuning Forks known as the Acutonics® System is a unique, energy-based, non-invasive approach that is rooted in Oriental Medicine. Tibetan & Crystal Bowls
Sound as a form of healing has been a part of almost every culture on earth. Although often surrounded with superstition and mysticism sound is considered one of the oldest forms of healing. In the last two decades universities have begun research to study the effectiveness of sound in health and medicine as a part of an emerging field referred to as Vibrational Medicine.
Quantum physics has demonstrated that frequency is the basis of our universe and that our bodies are composed of energy in the form of frequency. Musicians, scientists, physicians, and health practitioners are confirming the power of sound to heal, restore, and promote health. To this end, the use of sound and tone as prescribed in the ancient and sacred texts are now considered a form of medicine for healing in this day and age.
Sound Healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational sound to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace, well being and better health.
One vibrational healing tool which bridges high technology and mysticism is the singing bowl. Traditionally, the ancient Tibetan sing bowls and bells have been used to balance the physical energies and harmonizes body, mind, and spirit.
Ancient singing bowls come from different areas in the Himalayan mountains. They were made from a consecrated 7 metal alloy and the bowl makers, often Monks, would chant and pray imbuing the bowls with the energy of their prayers. Although their exact age is not known, many of them dated back hundreds of years. At that time, the old bowls were made with the intention of healing or transforming consciousness. These ancient bowls hold a high vibration and resonate on the spiritual, emotional, and physical levels to address the whole being.
The new bowls come from India or Nepal and are machine made and lack any of the ritual, ceremony or sacred aspects of the old bowls.
The crystal bowls are made by pulverizing crystals found in the earth. Each bowl is fashioned to be in sync with one specific area of the body. In this way they can be useful when addressing a particular area or condition in the body and can work well when combined with Tibetan bowls.
